I made the master slides and the logo for the pitch, I went with the font that you would see in a comic, and the shape the text is based in was inspired by the speech bubbles and onomatopoeia bubbles in comics. This all fits into the theme of our game, which are comics.
The two slides above were wrote by both me and Louis Norton, we wrote what the basics of our the game concept is; with how it will look like, the plot, what platform we are aiming for, what the game is inspired by and the mechanic of the game. Alister Martin improved these slide by shortening the points.
The visuals shown in the slide above were created by Alister Martin, whilst the description was wrote by Louis Norton.
The Visuals shown in the slide above, were again made by Alister Martin, whilst the description was wrote by Louis Norton.
The Visuals shown in the slide above were created by Alister Martin, whilst this time the description was wrote by me, with corrections made by Alister Martin.
The slide above was wrote by me; I wrote about what makes the game more fun with other players and your friends, and challenges you can do to compete against them.
The 2 slides above is about the level design, the comic layout on the right was made by Alister Martin, as well as the base for the actual visualisation of the level, which I then added a few things such as the environmental hazards and the gun shots. The description was wrote by me and improved again by Alister Martin.
The slide above is a visualisation of what the GUI looks like, the GUI was created by me, I went with a simplistic look, so that the player can see the actual game more easily, making it easier to play.
The slide above is about the target audience, the mood-board was created by Louis Norton, with a collection of images that relate to our target audience. Then the description was wrote by me.
The slide above was written by Louis Norton and the copyright-free music sample was created by Alister Martin.
The slide above was worked out by Louis Norton, whilst some key things were missing that should of been included which was how much the retail cost for the game was on the market for example.
Improvements:Shorten the amount of detail in our presentation, shorter bullet points (10 words). This is so the client you are pitching to doesn't get mixed in the details you are saying and the detail on the slides.
Show visuals earlier in the pitch and do not be afraid to use other images from the internet to show what you are trying to represent.
Say that the target audience isn't just for the age rating 12 but also adults, around mid 20's to 30's, which may be reminded of games that they used to play and would like to play it.
